What this website is for

vaerse.com presents the studio, its games and apps and its app and game development services, and brings together support information and legal texts. The website sells nothing directly and has no sign-up or forms: if you contact us, you do so by email.

How our apps are sold

Our games and apps are downloaded and, where applicable, purchased only through the App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Google). Payment, refunds and restoring purchases are governed by each store's terms; we never see or store your card details. The use of each app is governed by our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The text, logo, icons, screenshots, illustrations, design and code of this website and of our apps belong to Vaerse LLC or to those who have licensed them to us. You may view them and share links to the website, but you may not copy, modify or use them commercially without our written permission.

Some items are under open licences: the Manrope typeface is used under the SIL Open Font License, and the Spanish playing cards are the work of Basquetteur (Wikimedia Commons), licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0. App Store and Google Play are trademarks of their respective owners.

Links to other sites

The website links to App Store and Google Play listings and to third-party privacy policies. When you follow those links you leave vaerse.com and that site's terms and privacy policy apply. We do not control or answer for their content; if we learn that a linked site contains unlawful content, we will remove the link.

Liability

We aim to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date and the website running without interruption, but we cannot always guarantee it. Nothing in this notice limits any liability that cannot be limited by law or the rights you have under consumer protection law.

Governing law and complaints

This notice is governed by the law of the State of New Mexico (United States). If you are a consumer living in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence, and you may bring a claim before the courts where you live and before the consumer services of your country. If you live elsewhere, the courts of Sandoval County (New Mexico) or the federal courts in New Mexico have jurisdiction, unless the law of your country or state allows you to bring a claim where you live. There is no mandatory arbitration. This is the same rule as in our Terms of Service.

If you have a complaint, you can write to us first at soporte@vaerse.com; we will reply within 30 days at the latest. We do not participate in any alternative dispute resolution scheme.
